Big buddha
Phuket's Big Buddha is one of the most important and revered landmarks on the island. It sits on the peak of mount Nagakerd and is covered in white marble. It is relatively easily reachable via a winding road from Phuket’s main roads and a short quick hike up. Please also note that this is a religious site so proper attire is required.

Phuket Old Town’s aspect is rather similar to Georgetown’s in Penang: ‘shop-houses’ with arcades flank both sides of the streets, and Chinese shrines are more numerous than Buddhist Temples.
